I’ve loved this house since I was a child. The architectural character is interesting. It’s Tudoresque in style. There are 2 other homes in the vicinity that are similar in style, but there are minor differences between.

When you first turn onto Roxbury St. on the left hand side on the corner. This is visible in the movie. It’s a mirror of the Freeling home.

Because of the video for the 1st time I noticed another home. 2:01 on the left with it’s gray wood and the garage is different.

The original owner still lives there (as of October 2010) Also, if you look to your left at 3:21, you’ll see a large vacant lot. The “Poltergeist House” backs up to this lot. When they were filming the exterior shots, a lot of filming equipment was placed there until it was needed. On location shoots, it’s usually hard to find places for equipment other than to have it sitting on the street taking up room. This worked out pretty good for them. Thanks for posting this video!!!

It looks so different with all the trees put in. Also surprising, I figured by now they entire place would be fully developed, but when you drove around you saw all this open undeveloped sections of land, it still is very rural.
